using attitude (free) child themeThe issue is “something” is inserting favicon lines
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://dbj.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/dbj.org-logo-100x100.png" type="image/x-icon" /> <link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" href="http://dbj.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/dbj.org-logo-100x100.png" />
site icon is properly set up and shows, but these lines are being inserted regardless?
Pleas advise how to stop this …

Just visited to your site and clicking on this favicon image link, the image is not displayed. View screenshot I think you have only removed the favicon from uploads folder but there is only a link. Once you try deleting all the caching of your browser and your site.
Thank you!
June 14, 2016 at 11:42 am #45485dbjParticipantOk thanks but this was (re)stating the obvious 🙂
I have removed site icon using the Attitude (very good) customizer mechanism. But instead of having no favicon now we have some old favicon.
Upon inspection of the source it is easily and clearly visible that “something” is inserting the favicon lines into the html.
The question is: what?We want no favicon at all on this site. But can not remove it somehow? Please advise ,,,

We have just visited to our site and there is no any issues with it. Its strange. what you do is first clear the server caching or ask your hosting provider to clear the cache of the server. Also deactivate plugins one by one. There may be some plugin conflict too and check that if it solves the issue. Could you please provide your temporary username and password Here
