I have just updated to BuddyPress 2.4.0 which has an enhancement such that, when displaying members profile, their avatar is half superimposed over the header image.
I am not using any header image. Now with BuddyPress 2.4.0 the member’s profile has the avatar half superimposed over a blank header image which was not there before.
Here is a link to show the problem but once it has been fixed the link will not show it!
I guess the theme needs a fix? Thanks in anticipation… Tony

It’s not theme issue BuddyPress 2.4.0 updated with the cover images. You can see the change log of BuddyPress version 2.4.0 here where they stated that they have added the cover images features in version 2.4.0Thank you!
November 13, 2015 at 2:36 pm #39552TonyParticipantHi…
I realised that this feature was updated in BuddyPress 2.4.0.My question is where should it be fixed for sites with no header image? Does it require a fix in the theme to account for 2.4.0, or should it be fixed in BuddyPress?
Your further advice awaited! thanks

November 15, 2015 at 1:06 pm #39617TonyParticipantThank you ! THat’s just what I need. I had not spotted the new option in Settings>BuddyPress>Settings Settings tab.
Now I just need a way of suppressing a blank cover image while displaying those that exist ?
