Hi –
I’m receiving a long list of structured data errors (missing ‘updated’, missing ‘author’)
Has this issue been fixed?

I’m looking in content_extensions.php – I have a child theme. If I have to add something to content_extensions.php, I am not sure in which folder to put it within the child theme.

Thanks for help – Google is warning about these errors now so am trying to fix asap.

Just to update – I added a scheme plugin, but still am being rejected by google search console for
“Spammy structured markup”

Please update it manually in content-extension.php. We missed it in this theme. We will soon release a new version with (missing ‘updated’, missing ‘author’) adding vcard and date updated for better seo. Thanks for the report.

what is the code that should be added –
and if I am using a child theme – should content-extension.php be changed within the child theme, and should it be within its folders? (/structure)

We will update it on upcoming version. So for now you can currently make a direct changes in the theme folder
Go to theme folder -> library -> structure -> content-extension.php on line no 150, 323, 482, 597, 714 you will find
<span class="by-author"> and replace it with <div class="by-author vcard author">

Similarly on line no 151, 324, 483, 598, 715 you will find <span class="date"> and replace it with <span class="date updated">
