Hi Seaserpent,
We don’t have this feature in our theme. You need code customisation for it. We recommended not to change the code because if you change the code then while updating to our new version all your customisation code will be lost. So better make child theme and first unhook the functions and the edit the code.

Hi CAROLINA,
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> advance options -> excerpt options and set the excerpt length you want. This excerpt length is controlled for services, blog image large and blog image medium too.

IF you want only recent work widgets to show limited text then its not possible so it need code customisation and you need to hire a developer to fix it.
