I think you have migrated your site from http://visualpowerdesign.nl/wordpress/ to http://visualpowerdesign.nl/ so you are not getting this image in this Url

The path of your image is http://visualpowerdesign.nl/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/IMG_0024.jpg So you are not getting the image. While migrating to the Primary domain name you need to change the Url path too.

Hi Marguerite,

First activate a different theme and delete the old version of the theme then upload the new version of the theme and activate it. If you have not customize the code then we are sure that you will not lost any data/setting lost but if you customize the code then your all customize code will be lost. So, first back up your previous version of the theme and then only activate the new one if you have customize the code.

Are you using plugins? First of all deactivate all the plugins and check whether it works or not. Also activate twentyfourteen themes too from your dashboard and whether the same problem exists or not.

Do you like to display blog page as in our demo. Create your News page from dashboard -> pages -> and select the template(blog full content template) and click on publish it.
Then your News content will be displayed in blog page.
