December 30, 2013 at 2:23 pm #5879siftandwhisk ParticipantHere is my website for reference: http://www.siftandwhisk.com I am an amateur with coding, but I have added some custom CSS modifications to my site. I have advertisements in my sidebar for revenue, and as soon as I added them, I noticed that my top navigation menu disappears in certain screen resolutions: on my Galaxy S4 phone, for example, but also if I just shrink the size of my browser window on the computer. The sidebar moves underneath the body content in these resolutions, but the menu vanishes completely. I asked the ad network folks if it was a problem with their ads, because this stops happening if I remove them. They looked into it and said it appears to be a problem with the CSS, but I’m not sure what to change to make the menu stop disappearing. I want my readers to be able to access my nav menu from their phones and tablets and also keep my ads in the sidebar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Then this should certainly be a issue that has arisen due to the ads. It may be js conflict between those of the ads and the navigation that appears in smaller devices. This certainly does not look like a CSS issue. You will have to 1. Not use those ads and try using some other ads 2. Hire a developer to fix this js issue. In fact, I went a step further and removed ALL the content from the sidebars, and I still have the same problem. Is this possibly a problem with the responsive design? Thank you for your help! I uninstalled it, and everything is working normally now. Thanks!
