ParticipantHi
On our blog — Absolute Physical Therapy — we’d like to have the posts show full content, not just the excerpt.
How do we get this to happen?
Thanks

Participantbut it doesn’t allow for just one post category so all my posts show — including the ones I want to show exclusively in our slider

ParticipantI’m having the same issue. I have my blog set to blog full content display, but it still shows just the excerpt of the post, while I would really like to show the full content of each post. Do you have suggestions?

KeymasterHi Shellikah
I think you have kept the content in the excerpt. Just check it once. If you want to display all the content with chossing blog full content display then you must paste the content in the editor no in the excerpt.
Hope this helps for youRegards

ParticipantHi,
I do not use excerpts and do not wish to either. On one site it is fine with full display but on the other, it all states “read more”.
I have Clean Retina Pro working side by side in two languages – both clean installs, new server even.
1. http://www.stokrozen.nl/ – Posts appearing on front page in full. perfect.
2. http://en.stokrozen.nl/news/ – Posts set to appear on the News page but all are displaying excerpts. Only thing is, I have not implemented excerpts and I want to see full Posts displayed.
Therefore why the difference and how can I get rid of excerpts from my Posts when I don’t even use them.
Thank you.
Regards, Antoon

Keymasterhi Antoon
Once go to dashboard-> pages->
there inside blog you are selection the template for full content or blog image medium or blog image large.
Set your template first to full content display. If still you face the problem then you need custom coding. we recommened you not to change the code but if you want then you can make a child theme and edit the excerpt content and display the full content on the other page.
for more information about child themehttps://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
