Yes, I have tried that.

But with a “Magazine/News WordPress Theme” I was expecting, that it would automatically “pick up” the latest post (news).
If that is not possible, I will not be able to use the theme (and the theme should not be called a magazine/news them).

(When I tried your sollution, the photo’s are not automatically (as it does with the NewsCard Pro, which I use for another page)
