In other words, I have to move my mouse beyond the point that I am no longer hovering the menu item that causes the drop down menu to appear. So the drop down disappears before I can reach it with my mouse.

I assume I need to reduce the spacing above the drop down menu to bring it up higher on the page, so I don’t have this problem.
