To reduce the gap between each image and the title Popular Posts go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on save all changes button:

#secondary .widget img.aligncenter,
#secondary .wp-caption {
    margin-bottom: 0;
}
