    Hi there,
I wonder how these portfolios on the demo page are made. I couldn’t find them on the dashboard.
Please could you help me? Thanks!!!

    Hi diana-sopran,

To add portfolios as shown on demo site. Goto dashbaord -> post -> add new. Create post with title, featured image and content. Repeat this process for next post too and so on.

    Thank you

hi, I’m new to this and I’m finding it very confusing: I’ve installed Portfolio Premium, and now my old portfolio posts are missing from the backend, and if I go to dashboard -> post -> add new, what I create is a blog post, not a portfolio post. please help, otherwise I spent a lot of money for a theme I cannot use 🙁

    Hello @sol-kawage, @redlucas89, @duniakaryautama,

Our Portfolio theme work with the normal post.
If you all are talking about the Portfolio Page Template and it’s widgets then WordPress released a new version with new editor as a widget settings.
You can disable those feature and get the standard edit setting by activating this plugin.
Just activate it and you will see the same settings for widgets as previous.

    Thank you!

Creating a portfolio in WordPress is a great way to showcase your work, skills, and projects online. Whether you are a designer, photographer, freelancer, or business owner, you can build a professional-looking portfolio without needing advanced coding skills.

    Here’s how to get started:

Choose a WordPress theme: Pick a clean, responsive theme that suits your work and looks good on mobile devices.
Create a portfolio page: Go to your WordPress dashboard, select Pages → Add New, and create a page called “Portfolio.”
Add your projects: Include high-quality images, project descriptions, and relevant details about your work.
Use a portfolio plugin if needed: Plugins such as WP Portfolio or portfolio blocks can help you organize projects and create attractive layouts.
Make navigation simple: Add your portfolio to the main menu so visitors can find it easily.
Optimize for SEO: Write descriptive page titles, add image alt text, and make sure your website loads quickly.
Publish and update regularly: Keep your portfolio fresh by adding new projects and removing outdated examples.
The best portfolio is one that clearly shows what you do and makes it easy for potential clients to contact you. Start with a simple layout and improve it as your experience grows.
