I am currently using the Clean Retina theme for my dropshipping service website, which includes features like route listings, vehicle categories, dynamic fare calculation, and an online booking request form. The website is built on WordPress with multiple custom post types and additional booking-related plugins. While the theme works fine for basic blog-style pages, I am facing serious layout and rendering issues when integrating dynamic transportation content. Specifically, the homepage sections that display featured routes and vehicle types are not aligning correctly in grid format, and the responsive behavior breaks completely on tablet and some mobile resolutions.

Another issue I am experiencing is related to custom templates. I created a custom page template for “Book a Ride” where users select pickup location, drop-off location, date, and vehicle type. However, Clean Retina seems to override certain template parts, especially header and content container widths, which results in form elements stretching beyond the container or overlapping with sidebar widgets. Even after disabling sidebar settings from the theme options, the layout still reserves space as if a sidebar exists. I have tried clearing cache, disabling other plugins, and testing on a staging site, but the issue persists.

Additionally, I am noticing CSS conflicts between the Clean Retina theme styles and my booking plugin styles. For example, buttons that are supposed to appear in a primary color are being overridden by the theme’s default anchor styling. Also, some important elements like fare summary boxes and route information cards lose padding and border styling after theme updates. I attempted to fix this using custom CSS in the Additional CSS panel, but every time the theme updates, some structural changes affect the selectors and my fixes stop working.

There is also a performance concern. When enabling featured images for each transportation route and vehicle type, the page load time increases significantly. I suspect that the theme’s image handling and retina support might be generating multiple image sizes, which impacts loading speed on pages with many route listings. Is there a recommended way to optimize image generation or disable unnecessary retina image sizes within Clean Retina? My website heavily relies on visual representation of vehicles and destinations, so image optimization is very important for us.

Lastly, I want to ask if Clean Retina is fully compatible with modern booking or transportation-related plugins that use AJAX-based form submissions. My booking form sometimes refreshes the entire page instead of submitting asynchronously, which affects user experience. I am unsure whether this is due to theme script conflicts or missing hooks in my custom template. Could you please guide me on best practices for integrating a transportation booking system with Clean Retina without breaking layout and functionality? Any advice or documentation references would be greatly appreciated.

I just want to add that I am still encountering this issue, even after trying multiple troubleshooting steps. I have tested the website https://frienddropshipping.com/ in a clean environment, disabled non-essential plugins, re-saved permalinks, cleared all cache layers, and even reinstalled the Clean Retina theme but the layout misalignment, container width conflicts, and CSS overrides are still happening.
