I love Clean Retina but I think the jquery scripts reduce the speed score (according to Google) I haven’t been able to effectively minify the scripts. Does anyone know of a way to improve the overall performance? I don’t use the slider feature, so could I get rid of this and improve performance that way? How to do that? Also, is there a jquery update that would help? I’m a novice. Thanks for any ideas!

We have designed our theme this way. If you don’t like to use slider then you may remove the script from clean-retina-> library-> functions-> functions.php, You need code customization. So you need to hire a developer to fix it.
