Today I went to one of my site’s WordPress dashoard and saw many error messages.When I go to the Dashboard, I still can see the top black menu bar.
Under that, a lot of error messages are displayed, I will paste them at the end of this message.
Under that, the left menu sidebar shows up but without any menu.
The Dashboard page shows up normally.What I have tried to do: replacing the file update_notifier.php on the FTP with the one I had in my downloaded zip file : clean-retina-pro.1.5.zip . But it didn’t help.

I am not comfortable giving access to my WP. Are you able to advise how to fix the code in order to turn the notifier updates off? This is the file that is causing the issue. I see on this thread similar advice was given https://www.themehorse.com/support-forum/topic/warnings/ so please can you provide similar?
Otherwise I will have to remove as my theme and stop paying for it. This is stopping me being able to use wordpress.

We have updated our need version with this issue fixed. please download the latest version. First login to our site and download the new version. Then it will work without no issue in your dashboard.

September 11, 2014 at 7:58 am #15796grendizerMemberYesterday I upgraded and the Dashboard issue is now fixed. However, some of my settings were gone after the upgrade:
– Widgets on the footer sidebar were gone and I had ton re-create them from scratch.
– The custom header logo was gone.
– Appearance > menus > manage locations > I had to set again the drop down.
Other settings were kept. The Theme Horse support told me it’s not normal these settings had changed, but I wanted to know if I was the only one in this situation?

Just update the latest version. Even though we provided the new updates today also. I think you have customise the code so that the widgets on the footer sidebar were gone and custom header logo too.
We always recommended not to change the code. If you want to change the code then first need to make the child theme then only customise the code. Because while updating to our new version all your customisation code will be lost if you don’t make child theme.

September 11, 2014 at 2:55 pm #15821VincentMemberI now have some major concerns that I bought into a problem that will compound down the road. I want to get some things straight before I go any further with using your templates and keeping my account active.
If I do not manually change the code through the editor and only add changes to the css through the custom css, I can then upgrade without having to change or re-enter anything…including the custom css?
If I have a custom header, set up all the layout and design…nothing will change?

September 11, 2014 at 5:14 pm #15831VincentMemberdevillers…you are sup[posed to be able to go to the dashboard and click updates…it will show all the themes you have loaded as well as wordpress if it needs updates. This theme is not showing up in one site that I have already running. I also am building a new site where I noticed the problem…couldn’t find an update in the list so I just loaded the version 1.6 theme and started over. It shouldn’t be this way, so I am waiting for answers before fixing my active site.

We have update our theme compatible to WordPress 4.0 and disable some function that make error for the site.
Login to our site with the same username and password while you have purchase the theme and download the latest version of the theme.Premium themes can not be update automatically as other free WordPress theme. All other premium theme does the same process you have to deactivate the old version delete it and upload the new version. It can not be automatically updated because of subscription.
