There is no recommended size for this Custom Header Logo image. You may use any small size image which is suitable for your site.

Ok, thank you. I’ve been struggling to get the resolution clear – I’ll keep trying.

Mainly it’s the proprtions that I’m struggling with – every image I upload is being cropped at either side. Should the uploaded image be a square image?

While uploading image you can set the image (full size) where our theme horse logo size is ( 350 * 80 ). You may use any size of image that will be suitable for your logo.
